Werewolf

Werewolves are a race of people who in the midst of a full moon will transform into a hybrid of man and wolf. On rare occasions however, there will come a Werewolf capable of transforming into what appears to be a normal wolf. However they are twice the size of the common wolf, and are twice as strong. The reason behind why there are sometimes hybrids and large wolves are unknown to the world. Becoming a Werewolf is as simple as getting bitten by one, however, it also depends on if the victim lives through the wounds inflicted from the Werewolf.

These race of people live in small villages, or the near by forests and tend to terrorize the villages they live by. Often tearing through livestock, and even people, they were hunted and terrorized back in return. Though some villages do not have the man power to hunt these beasts down, so to appease them from taking prized livestock, will sacrifice a sheep, pig or cow every full moon.

Werewolves are considered incredibly strong when in their transformation, and gain size and bulk along with deadly sharp claws and teeth. They gain abnormal strength, speed, and agility. They also have the ability to heal wounds quickly unless inflicted with a silver object. They also have heightened scent and sight. Transformation is often quite painful however, and will leave the Werewolf powerless for a few moments. Transformation includes the breaking and shifting of every bone in the Werewolf's body in order to form the hybrid or wolf appearance. Werewolf's come in all manner of sizes, colors, and shapes. They can be black, white, gray, brown, red, or a mix of different colors. In rare cases they can even have the colors of most domestic dogs due to the family relationship between canines.

Werewolves are a very territorial race, they travel in small packs consisting of a family. The Alpha of the family is usually the father, or oldest son depending on the family. However there are lone wolves who would rather be alone to roam free than to settle down with a mate. Territorial wolves will protect an area they call home fiercely, attacking intruders and often mauling them in their Werewolf form. However, Werewolves are incredibly loyal, and make some of the best guards out there if you can find one not out for blood. They will protect those they love and care for with their life. Though this is not always the case.

To harm a Werewolf is easy, any silver object will leave a wound they cannot heal easily. Killing a Werewolf, is no easy feat. They are incredibly strong, fast, and quite large. They have claws that can easily rip through the bark on a tree, leaving a nasty gash. Their teeth are sharp, with incredibly pointed fangs and can easily pierce through flesh. If you do manage to stab or shoot the Werewolf in the heart or brain with anything silver, it will leave a nasty, almost certain fatal wound, about the equivalent of stabbing or shooting a human in the heart or brain with an ordinary object.

Werewolves and Vampires have never gotten along, and will cause destruction and chaos where ever they meet and fight. They will fight often till one is badly injured and dying, or until one is actually dead. Many wars have broken out over the centuries, and have often laid warren wastelands behind them with many other species and Werewolf, Vampire causalities. However, it is not unheard of for a Werewolf and Vampire to fall in love with each other. It's uncommon, and incredibly rare, but it can happen. Though these forbidden loves are often called treason among their races and are hunted for their cursed love.

Vampires are creatures of the night, requiring the blood of the living in order to survive themselves. However, they are immortal and will not necessarily die, they will just enter into a blood thirsty rampage. They can feed on almost all species, however their main food source is Humans. Vampires are generally cold blooded, lustful creatures. They find pleasure in torturing humans as well as having their way with them, and almost always get what they desire.

Vampires live among human populations, hiding in plain sight. The only difference is that these few people are afraid of sunlight. It causes an extreme discomfort to their skin and eyes, and too long of exposure will cause a nasty burn. They are better hunters at night, and tend to take one victim every few nights. Draining the person, they leave the body with the only clue as to what happened to the person being extreme blood loss and two small puncture wounds on their neck, shoulder or wrist. Vampires are known for taking to bed with someone, and draining them dry once they're done with the pleasure. However, this is not always the case, and it depends on the Vampire for lustful purposes.

The only known way to become a Vampire is to be bitten and drained nearly to death. Then some of the Vampire's blood needs to be ingested by the mortal. If the mortal survives the bite and the nearly dying, then they will become a blood thirsty, extremely dangerous Vampire. These Vampire's are usually guided by the one that bit them, a Sire. If no Sire guides the new Vampire, they will rampage due to the sudden thirst for blood.

Vampires are incredibly agile, being fast enough to be nearly a blur. They are also extremely strong, with multiple heightened senses including smell, sight, and thinking capabilities. Vampires are known for being cunning, able to con people out of valuables to get someone to trust them. They know how to manipulate emotions and thoughts to get what they desire the most. They also have an increased healing ability, and can heal almost any wounds.

They are as common as humans, and because of this, they look just like any human. However they have a more pale appearance due to no longer being able to withstand the sun. Their eyes also take a darker, more dead appearance, and can change to blood red, crimson or pure black when thirsty or angered. Some have even claimed that the appearances of these Vampire's also attract people better to them in order to get bed mates or meals.

While territorial, Vampire's could care less of where they live, often leaving a city after a while due to the suspicious activity. Some Vampire's have been known to take on permanent mates, often staying with this one person for centuries. Though this rare, as most prefer to keep to themselves and secluded. Vampire's can be as friendly, or as mean as they desire, some even preferring to blend into everyday life to return to what they once had.

Holy objects, blessed objects, and holy water are a few ways to harm a Vampire. Churches and any blessed or holy ground will also cause extreme pain to the Vampire. Increased sun exposure can cause nasty, hard to heal wounds. The most common ways of killing a Vampire, however, is setting them on fire or cutting their head off. A stake to the heart will keep the Vampire immobilized, but will not kill them.
